Riccardo Leónida Boeretto

Brief biography

Maestro Riccardo "Leónida" Boeretto began his career as conductor in 2005 at the same time as the creation of the Veneto Philharmonic Orchestra in which he was the Artistic Director and the Conductor until 2019.

​

Previously he received the Bachelor Degree in Violin at the prestigious "B. Marcello" Conservatory of Music in Venice (Italy) and was immediately active as a violinist, solo violinist, and concert master in various orchestras and chamber ensembles.

​

As well as having professional experiences with other organizations of the same or greater importance Maestro Leónida has always dedicated himself to the artistic and music development of his Orchestra, with which he has mainly dealt with opera and baroque repertoires, operating mainly in Italy and Europe.

 

With the same organization he organized and produced courses and master classes for young musicians and opera singers with the aim of creating activities and opportunities for the training of new generations, collaborating with important artistic institutions such as the Fondazione Teatro la Fenice in Venice (Italy).
